Oradea City Hall has started a European project of about 10 million euros, excluding VAT, for the rehabilitation of the heating system – stage III – heating points, reports Transilvania Business. The project concerns 42 heating points in the municipality, where the interior installations will be modernized and the installations for monitoring thermal parameters will be automated. The City Hall has launched the tender on SEAP for the design and execution works, with a deadline for submission of bids of 14 June 2022.
Rehabilitation of networks and heating points, with priority to those identified as having significant energy losses, will contribute to reducing network losses, lowering fuel consumption, increasing energy efficiency and reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere.
Following the two previous phases, phase III will complete the rehabilitation of the transmission network and will consolidate the rehabilitation and modernization of DHS Oradea through the rehabilitation of heating points and distribution networks.
The program is funded by the Large Infrastructure Operational Program, Axis 7 “Increasing energy efficiency in the centralized heating system in selected cities” – a dedicated program aimed at continuing the rehabilitation works proposed in the Master Plans of the centralised heating systems in the municipalities of Bacău, Botoșani, Focșani, Iași, Oradea, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Timișoara.
