Baku will host the 1st Eurasian Conference of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) on August 28-31, 2016, according to azernews.az.
This issue was discussed during the meeting of Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Natig Abbasov with a delegation led by IAEE President Gurkan Kumbaroglu, said the message from the ministry August 4. The conference’s program has been worked out and agreed with the ministries of energy, economy and industry, as well as ADA University, said the message.
It is expected that Eurasia’s energy policy, energy supply and the current situation in this sphere will be discussed during the conference. Furthermore, Azerbaijani, Russian and Turkish energy ministers will hold a meeting before the G20 summit in Turkey’s Antalya Nov.14, said the message.
IAEE is a global non-commercial organization that brings together 110 countries. Its main goal is to create a platform to exchange experience between the experts interested in the energy economics sphere.
