The employees from Hunedoara Energy Complex (CEH) will receive the wages for the month of April after the Deva Court decided to suspend some foreclosure procedures imposed by other courts on the complex, upon the requests of several creditors. CEH has over 6.300 employees in the mines and power plants which it operates.
“In order for the wages to be paid, it took the administration of CEH to request the Deva Court to suspend the enforcement proceedings, decided by other courts for several creditors. Hopefully the people will collect the remaining payment for April at the latest during Tuesday (17 May – n.r.)”, said Cristian Iștoc, vicepresident of “Mountain” union.
Several companies have sued CEH and demanded the enforcement of the company’s unearned money from the Hunedoara unit. In total, CEH has debts of over 1.5 billion lei.
