The most important professional competition in the electricity field – “The Electrician’s Trophy” – 2016 edition was won by the Distribution of Electricity Branch, Electrica Distributie Transilvania Sud.

Arrived at the XXXVII edition, The Electrician’s Trophy was held between 11-14 July in Brasov. The competition involves the best 114 electricians from the electricity distribution companies (ELECTRICA, ENEL, CEZ and E.ON), as well as from maintenance and energy services companies.

This year, the jury – composed of representatives of all the companies, decided that the first place is awarded to the Distribution of Electricity Branch, Electrica Distributie Transilvania Sud, second place going to the Distribution of Electricity Branch, Electrica Distributie Transilvania Nord and the third place was awarded to the colleagues from the Distribution of Electricity Branch, Electrica Distributie Muntenia Nord.

“The Electrician’s Trophy for the specialists in this field, means more than a competition in which compete the best of the best. The trophy is part of our DNA, of our identity, it means continuing a tradition that we carry on for four decades. The fact that this year also, the trophy was won by Electrica, through the Distribution Branch Transilvania Sud, is further proof of the talent, professionalism and thoroughness of our specialists,” said Iuliana Andronache, General  Manager of Electrica.
