Choosing a renewable energy provider to supply cheap energy to customers comes in the background of EuroGsm’s renewed confidence in the green energy market comeback. The telecom dealer EuroGsm announced a new line of business, the sale of gas and electricity packages to households, by partnering with the green electricity and natural gas supplier Restart Energy.
“There is no doubt that the European and global general interest reach quickly to our country. Medium and long-term interests for this form of energy are more than clearly outlined as strategic,” told energynomics.ro the commercial director of EuroGsm, Zoltan Halmai.
“As some of those who strongly believe in the necessity of this approach, we support and develop it with all our resources. We chose a reliable supplier targeting the long-term business, with contracts which guarantee its customers that the energy price will remain unchanged throughout the entire 12 months of validity,” said Halmai. He would not provide KPI details about this new line of buisness.
“We are talking about a business line emerging from the liberalization of the energy market in Romania. Quantitative estimates at this time are secondary for us,” he said.
EuroGsm promises that the main benefit for customers who will sign a contract with the new provider are up to 10% savings in electricity or gas bills, easier budget planning and more effective control of monthly costs. The telecom dealer has 110 points of sale in the country and hopes to sign 20,000 energy contracts by the year-end.
“We believe that through this step, we have the opportunity to carry forward the mission of Restart Energy, to offer Romanians … services in the domain of supplying of gas and electricity, without bureaucratic inconveniences or discontent generated by the lack of transparency of invoices,” also said Armand Doru, managing director, Energy Restart.
