Companies active in the repair, maintenance and performance improvement of electric motors/rotating machine systems are working together to share skills, knowledge and experience for the betterment of the industry.
SOROMENT (The Romanian Maintenance Society) will represent EASA (The Electrical Apparatus Service Association) in Romania and offer EASA membership and benefits to Romanian companies active in electromechanical equipment performances and services.
Mathis Menzel, President of EASA European & World Chapter, commented: “This is any exciting development for the Electro mechanical industry across Europe, by joining together members and the wider industry will grow stronger.
“There are many new opportunities in terms of energy efficiency, reliability, IT and condition monitoring development within the industry and also many challenges that we need to address. By working together, within a very competitive and complex environment, we will be better prepared to face these challenges and develop solution that benefit the wider industry. SOROMENT is an interesting network and I am looking forward to meeting their members and working with them for many years to come”, he added.
“I believe that for our members – as it is the case for the entire Romanian maintenance industry – it is essential to have up-to-date information and technical expertise as well as the best practice in the field. From this point of view, our partnership with EASA – the world largest professional organization – brings us the technical expertise, training and technical education which is recognized worldwide. As such, we are able to fulfil our most important objective, to make SOROMENT a platform for exchange of information and professional expertise”, says Cosmin Turcu, President of SOROMENT.
