Rompetrol Rafinare estimates a gross profit of USD 5 billion, an EBITDA of 192 million and a net profit of USD 51.2 million from refining and petrochemicals at both refineries, Petromidia and Vega, according to the budget for 2019, which will be subject to shareholders’ approval.

The turnover is lower than last year’s figure, but Rompetrol expects increased business profitability, with an EBITDA at USD 152 million in 2018 and the company reported a net loss of USD 23 million, according to e-nergia.ro.

For this year, the company budgeted domestic fuel sales worth 2.32 million tons, while exports will be of 2.15 million tons.
