The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration (MDRAP) has received a single tender offer for the purchase of 68 electric buses of 10 meters length, which will run in the cities of Braila, Constanta, Focsani, Lugoj and Slobozia. The offer comes from the Turkish – German association Bozankaya Otomotiv – Sileo GmbH.

MDRAP launched the auction for the 68 electric buses on January 28, with an estimated contract value of 153.5 million lei, excluding VAT (32 million euros), according to economica.net.

The contract is co-financed by European non-reimbursable funds through the 2014-2020 Regional Operational Program.
