Former ING Asigurări, now NN, has reached 6.21% of Electrica’s voting rights, according to a statement issued to the Stock Exchange. Practically, NN holds about 6.09% of the company’s share capital. The other shareholders of Electrica are the Romanian state, with 48.8% of the share capital, but 49.8% of the voting rights, the EBRD, with about 7% of the voting rights, the Americans from Mellon, with about 1.44% voting rights and other individuals and companies.
Electrica posted a consolidated net loss of 41 million lei in the first quarter of this year, compared with a profit of 59 million lei in the similar period of 2018.
The company’s total operating income amounted to 1,626 million lei, marking an increase of 17% (237 million) compared to the first three months of 2018.
