The Prime Minister has approved the establishment of an inter-ministerial commission that will draft legislation on the definition and protection of vulnerable consumers within the next two to three months, says Florin Ciocănelea, State Counselor for Energy issues, Prime Minister’s Office.
“I think it’s a good thing for many players in the market, including for the economy,” said Ciocănelea at the Energy Strategy Summit, an event organized by energynomics.ro.
At the same time, a memorandum was approved by which an inter-ministerial commission is set up to establish the compensation scheme for CO2 certificates, this Monday, Ciocănelea said.
“We believe that this is in support of the heavy industry, the big consumers, as promised at the last week meeting,” he said.
Also, during the next week, ANRM will make the official announcement to open the 11th round of biddings that will allow 28 exploration blocks to be leased to the concession.
“We hope all these measures will boost the energy industry.”
