The 13th edition of the “Power Engineers Trophy”, organized this year by the Ramnicu Valcea Hidrocentrale Power Plant, takes place between July 16-19, 2019, Hidroelectrica announces.

The festive opening of the country phase of the contest took place on July 16, 2019. For this phase, a number of 41 executive employees, from Hidroelectrica subsidiaries and Hidroserv Hydropower Services and Repairs were qualified, out of a total of 295 competitors enrolled in the first round of the contest.

“Hidroelectrica has outstanding people, motivated and involved. We want to keep the experts in the company by adapting our policy of benefits to industry standards. We also want to turn to people part of the success of the company. But the problem we face in the country is the acute shortage of specialists in the field. There is a great need for well-trained personnel in the Romanian energy system, staff to complete and replenish the teams of specialists,” says Bogdan Badea, president of the Hidroelectrica Directorate.
