The Competition Council authorized the operation by which the Rohrer Group takes over the R&R Oil Service – R.O.S. SRL and some assets of RIG Service SA, as well as Grup Petrol Marin SA.

The Rohrer Group operates mainly in the field of industrial insulation, industrial cleaning, scaffolding and fluid transport for the oil and gas industry.

RIG Service SA provides maintenance and operating services for the oil and gas industry, services of protection and automation of electrical equipment – PRAM, services of verification, calibration and repair of safety valves, services of metrological verification, means of measurement and control, radio services and non-destructive control services.

Following the assessment of the effects of the economic concentration, the Competition Council found that the proposed operation does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or a substantial part of it and there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.
