The Minister of Energy, Anton Anton, listed as propaganda the recent announcement of the company Engie regarding the increase of gas for customers in the open market segment starting September 1st.

“The fact that it will be more expensive (the price of gas for industrial consumers.) is a question I cannot answer, because I do not know how to speculate about the future. We have done so that the population will be protected for a few years from these fluctuations,” said Anton Anton, referring to the gas price cap for domestic customers in the regulated market, according to Agerpres.

The Minister of Energy did not show any worries about the announcement of this increase, estimating that in the autumn there will be a new increase in gas imports, in the context of the lower price of imported gas. “If they raise industrial prices, then we will wake up again with gas imports, because the gas around us will be cheaper,” said Anton Anton.
