Enel announces that, as of today, Carlo Pignoloni, who up until now was head of Enel Green Power’s operations in Italy, becomes the new country manager of Enel in Romania, replacing Georgios Stassis who left the Enel Group to take the helm of Greece’s top utility Power Public Corporation (PPC).
“We are very pleased to have Carlo Pignoloni as the new country manager of Enel’s operations in Romania. His knowledge of the conventional part of the business coupled with his experience in renewables makes him an ideal candidate for the job. Likewise on my own behalf and on behalf of Enel as a whole, I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to Georgios Stassis for the excellent work he has done over the years and we wish him all the best for his new, challenging job,” said Simone Mori, head of Europe and Euro-Mediterranean Affairs.
