Schneider Electric unveiled the first version of the Galaxy VS three-phase UPS, with smart internal battery modules. Galaxy VS is a highly efficient, modular, easy-to-install three-phase UPS designed to meet the security requirements in power supplies in the IT, commercial and industrial environments.

The new Galaxy VS 10-50 kW with smart internal battery modules improves the availability of the equipment, providing increased flexibility in configuring and monitoring batteries.

The batteries are arranged in redundant strings and have a self-configuring function. Also, this new model reduces risks, ensuring that critical loads are always protected with predictable periods of autonomy and redundancy for batteries. It has a compact footprint, optimized by integrating batteries into the UPS unit, making it ideal for unique EDGE requirements or critical infrastructure.

Galaxy VS with internal battery modules is available worldwide, with the exception of China and Japan. Depending on the power requirements and the operating time, there are two unit options, offering 10-50 kW (400V), 10-25 kW (208V) and 20-50 kW (480V).
