The Environmental Fund Administration – AFM published on March 23 the first list with more than 5,300 accepted files out of the more than 7,600 files evaluated within the program for the installation of photovoltaic panels for households. With a financing of 20,000 lei on average for each beneficiary, there are approved total subsidies of about one million lei; this is expected to somehow revive the segment of small companies providing energy services.

AFM specifies that 7,600 files have been evaluated and promises to continue analyzing beneficiaries’ files at an accelerated pace and publishing new lists at regular intervals. The list of rejected files will also be published soon.

“When taking office, I found this program blocked, the computer application did not work in optimal parameters and we took all measures for an urgent restart of this program, much expected by the people,” said AFM president Mihail-Dan Dojană.

AFM has committed to complete the evaluation of all 26,000 files submitted under the program by the end of April
