Virgil Popescu, Minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, announced that the National Energy System is operating in optimum parameters, with no supply problems at this time, according to a statement.

“At the moment there are no problems, and the National Energy System works at optimal parameters. In each company, the necessary measures have been taken to protect the employees, who do an essential job in this period of crisis, for each one of us,” said Virgil Popescu.

At the same time, the Minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment sends a message by thanking to all those who make the National Energy System work without incidents during this period of crisis.

“It is a category of professionals who perform a vital work during this period. They are the ones who works for the proper functioning of the National Energy System. They are the ones that allow us to have heat in homes, electricity and gas, which are now essential for hospitals, but also for every Romanian. Whether we are talking about the production, transportation or distribution sector, we are dealing with people with a deep sense of duty and responsibility towards the community. Their work is vital at this time and I want to thank each and every one of them for their dedication. There are a lot of silent heroes in this period, who are on the front line, which make the country, society and economy work as normal as possible, and we owe them at least a thought of gratitude,” added Popescu.
