The problems in the area of electricity distribution caused by adverse weather conditions were professionally managed by the operators, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, Niculae Havrileţ, said on Wednesday.

“In the last period the weather conditions were unfavorable with low temperatures, rainfall and snowfall. At the same time, due to the wind speed there were some problems in the area of electricity distribution, but they were professionally managed by the operators. We’d like to thank to those who make sure everything is functional and we appreciate the efforts of all the licensed operators who have faced the adverse conditions, ensuring the continuity of supplying to final consumers with energy and natural gas,” said Niculae Havrileţ, in a post on the ministry’s Facebook page, according to Agerpres.

Weekly, Transelectrica and Transgaz, as operators of the national systems of transport of energy and gas respectively, present reports on the state of the networks and the capacities of energy and natural gas production, under the Winter Commandment coordinated by the Ministry of Economy, under the leadership of the Secretary of State Niculae Havrileţ.
