Electrica Furnizare, the electricity and natural gas supply company within the Electrica Group, supports the Institute of Pneumophysiology Marius Nasta by granting a sponsorship worth 30,000 euro for the purchase of medical equipment.

The health unit will take over cases with COVID-19 infections and respiratory comorbidities, in the southern part of the country, according to the ALB plan of the Ministry of Health, according to Hotnews.ro.

The money will be used for the purchase of medical equipment absolutely necessary to treat patients affected by the new virus, as well as protective equipment for medical personnel.

Electrica Furnizare also supports the “National campaign for information and prevention of contamination with the new CORONAVIRUS”, implemented by the Romanian Red Cross, contributing with the amount of 90,000 euro for the purchase of disposable sanitary masks.

Electrica Furnizare adopted a plan of special measures to protect the health of customers, partners and employees, limit a potential expansion of COVID-19, as well as for the smooth running of the operations.
