The Chamber of Deputies postponed the deadline for submitting the files for the ANRE candidacies and the ASF presidency, according to financialintelligence.ro. Thus, the reunited permanent bureaus of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate decided on Wednesday to extend by two weeks the deadline for submitting candidacies for several positions in institutions subordinated to the legislative forum.

On May 26, the Chamber of Deputies announced that it will receive until June 4 proposals for candidates for ANRE, ASF, CNCD, the Legislative Council and the Court of Accounts, and on June 16 will be the opinion of the commissions.

The appointments within ANRE concern a position of vice-president and two members of the steering committee.

In April, the mandates of the members of the Regulatory Committee of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) were extended for a period of 3 months. The Government approved the GEO on the extension of the mandates of the ANRE Regulatory Committee. Ramiro Angelescu, Teodor Atanasiu and Henorel Soreaţă were appointed until April 23, 2020 in the Regulatory Committee. Meanwhile, Henorel Soreaţă resigned, Marian Neacşu being appointed in his place.
