Hidroelectrica, the energy producer that usually has a market share of 25-30%, provided on Monday morning more than half of the national production, in the context of heavy rains in recent days, but also the planned shutdown of a reactor in Cernavoda.
Thus, according to the Transelectrica website, where the state of the national energy system is presented in real time, hydro energy is on the first place, with 3,348 MW in production, on Monday at 10:00, according to Agerpres.
Next are hydrocarbons, with 922 MW (14.8%), coal – 901 MW (14.4%), nuclear – 695 MW (11.7%), photovoltaic – 299 MW (4.8%), biomass – 36 MW (0.5%) and wind energy – 23 MW (0.3%).
The national energy consumption was, at that time, of 6,803 MW, the total production – 6,245 MW, the difference of 558 MW representing imports.
Unit 1 from Cernavoda entered the planned shutdown period on Saturday.
