Teodor Chirica was appointed on Thursday as chairman of the Board of Directors of Nuclearelectrica, following the resignation of Iulian Robert Tudorache, according to an information submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
“Societatea Național Nuclearelectrica SA (SNN) informs the shareholders and investors that, during the meeting of the SNN Board of Directors on 23.07.2020, the Board of Directors noted the resignation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mr. Iulian Robert Tudorache and decided to appoint Mr. Teodor Minodor Chirica as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SNN, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1401 of Law 31/1990 on companies,” the company states, according to Agerpres.
According to the quoted source, the decision of the Board of Directors occurs in the context of resigning from the position of member of the Board of Directors of SNN of Iulian Robert Tudorache, starting with August 24, 2020.
At the same time, the Board of Directors decided to appoint Paul Ichim as the company’s financial director for a term of 4 years, starting with August 1, 2020.
