Natural gas transmission pipeline Ghergheasa – Focșani, as well as natural gas transmission pipeline Prunișor – Orșova – Băile Herculane – Jupa will be declared projects of national importance in the field of natural gas, according to draft Government Decisions.

The Ghergheasa – Focșani pipeline, with a length of 60 km, is an investment objective that will be included in the Development and Investment Modernization Program of SNTGN Transgaz SA Mediaș and will be financed from the company’s own sources.

By making this pipeline, the natural gas supply of the localities in the area of interest of the objective can be ensured, respectively a number of approximately 25,500 household consumers, 535 public institutions (schools, town halls, dispensaries, cultural centers, medical offices, etc.) and approximately 864 of economic agents, according to the substantiation note of the project, according to financialintelligence.ro.

The natural gas transmission pipeline Prunișor – Orșova – Băile Herculane – Jupa, with a length of 180 km, is an investment objective that will be included in the Development Modernization Program for 2020 of SNTGN Transgaz SA Mediaș, and will be financed from company’s own funds.
