The government approved the allocation of 41 million lei to ensure the continuity of centralized heat supply to the population in three municipalities, namely Oradea, Timisoara and Bucharest, announced the Minister of Public Finance, Florin Cîțu, at the end of the Government meeting.
“In today’s government meeting, several government decisions were approved that reallocate resources from the Government’s reserve fund to important sectors of the economy. First of all, to the Ministry of Health, in order to purchase medicines necessary for the treatment of patients with Covid infection, as well as for the granting by Romania of a free external humanitarian aid for the Republic of Moldova – 45,405,000 lei,” said Cîțu, according to Agerpres.
”Government Decision from the Reserve Fund for financing the expenses necessary to ensure the activity of social assistance and child protection, a Government Decision for supporting the activity of regional airports with a traffic between 200,000 – 3 million passengers per year, subordinated of some counties for compensating the losses registered in March – June 2020 as a result of the Covid pandemic and caused directly by this pandemic: Cluj, Iaşi, Sibiu, Dolj and Bacău – 20,729,000 lei and the Government Decision from the reserve fund to ensure continuity the public service of thermal energy supply of the centralized system of the population for Oradea, Timişoara, Bucharest, in the amount of 41,300,000 lei,” added Cîţu.
