In the context of liberalization of the electricity market, CEZ Vânzare became the first among the large suppliers to offer three months to its customers to study its offers. In a press release, the company announced that for the customers to submit a signed CEZ offer before 31 March 2021, the supplier would issue a discount invoice for the period during which the new universal service price was applied so that during the period 01.01.2021 to 31.03.2021 customers will benefit from the price negotiated under the new contract.
A similar measure was imposed on all suppliers by the regulator – the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), but only until the end of January. Zoltan Nagy-Bege, vice president of ANRE, told Agerpres that on January 15 Authority’s Regulatory Committee would approve an extension of this deadline until March 31st.
CEZ Vânzare specifies that information and offers have been transmitted to CEZ customers both online and in physical form, and a second series of information is to be sent between January 11 and January 17, so that all household customers with regulated contracts will receive detailed offers. It is therefore not necessary for them to visit the Customer Relations Centers.
Customers who will want a competitive contract in CEZ Customer relations Centers are urged to print, complete and submit the offer to CEZ specialist, so that the registration process is simple and quick.
