Last year, the OMV Petrom Group registered a net profit of 1.29 billion lei, down 64% compared to the previous year, according to the company’s financial report.
Sales revenues totaled 19.71 billion lei, down 23%.
The rapid measures and the integrated business model have partially counterbalanced the challenging environment, the company’s representatives note.
The CAC (current aquiring cost) operating result excluding special items, a key indicator for the oil sector, was of 2.3 billion lei, 50% lower, according to Agerpres.
Investments reached 3.2 billion lei, being 24% lower.
At the same time, the contribution to the state budget for last year was of 9.6 billion lei, including dividends. The company proposes to grant a dividend of 0.031 lei per share, at the same level as the previous year.
