The works for connection to the gas and electricity network will be performed additionally – meaning they will not be recognized in the investment plans of distribution companies already approved by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), the institution claims.
Thus, the ANRE Regulatory Committee approved in Tuesday’s meeting the modification of the Procedures regarding the substantiation and the criteria for approving the investment plans of the electricity and natural gas distribution operators.
At the same time, according to the new amendments, the capacity to satisfy reasonable long-term connection requests is ensured, without being affected in any way the completion of the investment works in the electric networks and in the natural gas distribution systems in the performance of the distribution service and the continuity of the electricity and natural gas supply of the users.
Considering the impact of the design and execution works of the connection installation on the annual investment plan established by ANRE, the Regulatory Committee decided that these should be performed in addition to the one approved for each distribution operator.
