Transelectrica had to recover, on March 22, 2021, receivables in the total amount of 47.6 million lei for the electricity transmission service, according to a document posted on the company’s website.
The largest amount, respectively 26.4 million lei, represents amounts to be recovered from companies in bankruptcy proceedings, such as the Autonomous Authority for Nuclear Activities (RAAN), which owes 6.2 million lei, Total Electric Oltenia – 3 , 1 million lei, Romenergy Industry – 3 million lei.
From the customers in insolvency proceedings, the energy carrier has to recover 17.1 million lei, most of the money from Petprod – 5.6 million lei, CET Govora – 1.8 million lei and Fidelis Energy – 1.7 million lei, according to Agerpres.
The company still has 982,436 lei to recover legally. At the same time, Transelectrica has to recover commercially arrears of 47,622 lei, of which 3,870 lei from Oltenia Energy Distribution company.
Transelectrica is the transmission and system operator on the Romanian electricity market.
The company is owned by the Romanian state, through the General Secretariat of the Government – 58.6% of the shares, the rest being traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
