For the fifth consecutive year, CEZ ranks first and stands out in the categories “Marketing associated with a cause”, “Employee support” and “Education”, in the Romanian CSR Awards competition. The projects that bring it these recognitions have contributed to supporting online education, to the development of communities in southern Romania and to the training of the next generation of electricians.
The Green Promise campaign, which supported the education of 450 children from vulnerable backgrounds, won first prize in the category “Marketing associated with a cause”.
The Good Generators, which generated investments of 40,000 euros in the school environment in 2020, won the third prize, in the category “Employee Support”, and the Electrician Apprentice project received a mention in the category “Education”.
“The Green Promise was an effervescent social initiative, with immediate impact and that mobilized us all around the cause of students who needed resources to continue their education, even online. The Generators of Good and Electrician Apprentice are well-anchored projects in our social responsibility strategy, with a loyal audience and a significant evolution from one edition to another. The received distinctions honor us and confirms, once again, that we are on the right track in our approach to social responsibility,” said Angelica Barbu, Communication & Marketing Director of CEZ Romania.
