On April 28, 2021, the Romanian Energy Center Association organized the XXVI General Assembly of CRE members, during which the team of vice presidents was elected for a period of 3 years.
Thus, Ioan Roșca was reconfirmed for a new term of vice president for Energy Policies and the Energy Market, together with two newly elected vice-presidents, Mr. Niculae Havrileț, Vice President for Relations with the Governmental and Institutional Environment and Mr. Frank Hajdinjak, Vice President who will coordinate the Research-Development and Relationship with European Institutions Projects.
The 3 VPs are recognized personalities in the energy field, with experience and expertise of over 25 years, who have already contributed to the development of the Romanian energy industry. Thus, taking over the new positions within the Romanian Energy Center, they continue their mission, dedicating to the activities of the Association together with the President Corneliu Bodea. Together, the management team of the Romanian Energy Center is committed in playing an active role in transforming the national energy sector, related to European energy and climate targets and to the permanent support of its members, the most relevant players in the industry.
Ioan Roșca was the CEO of Electrica, occupying various positions during the 25 years within the company. Ioan Roșca is an energy engineer, receiving the distinction of Doctor of Electrical Engineering in 2011 and later the MBA degree of Open University in Great Britain.
Niculae Havrileț started her professional career in the Romgaz company, working mainly in natural gas distribution activities. During 2012-2017, he held the position of President of ANRE, the National Energy Regulatory Authority and actively participated in the most important decisions regarding the transformation of the energy sector. From 2017 to 2019 he worked in the Ministry of Energy as a personal advisor to the Minister of Energy, and from December 2019 to March 2021 as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, as head of the Department for Energy. Since March 2021, he has held the position of Director of the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy.
Frank Hajdinjak was CEO of E.ON Romania, occupying various positions during the 25 years within the company. Frank Hajdinjak was the President of the Employers’ Federation of Energy Utility Companies (ACUE) and a member of the boards of the Concordia Association, the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and the of Foreign Investors’ Council.
