Competition Council authorized the transaction through which the DKV Mobility Group and Ovidiu-Ioan Andrieș intend to take over the companies Smart Diesel SRL and Tax Refund SRL, the institution announced.

The DKV Mobility Group is a solution provider for mobility services, which, through its companies, offers the DKV fuel card and additional services.

Through the companies he controls, Mr. Ovidiu-Ioan Andrieș is involved in activities in several sectors, such as: development of building projects, restaurants, software development, wholesale of car parts and accessories, maintenance and repair of vehicles .

The activity of Smart Diesel SRL, which will be taken over by the DKV Mobility Group and Mr. Ovidiu-Ioan Andrieș, refers to fuel cards: issuance, resale, provision of access to toll payment systems.

Tax Refund SLR is and will continue to be active in the VAT and excise refund market.

Following the analysis, the Competition Council found that this operation does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part of it and that there are no serious doubts about its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.
