The application at Hidroelectrica of the rule prohibiting the access of persons who do not have a green certificate, other than employees, can lead to possible damages and to a disaster of proportions in the national energy context, considering that the personnel performing the maintenance of Hidroelectrica installations is not composed of employees of the company, is mentioned in a release of the National Trade Union Confederation (CNS) ALFA Cartel.
“The rules adopted by extending the state of alert, by which the access of persons in public institutions, other than employees, is conditioned by the presentation of the green certificate (GD 1130/2021) have created in practice strange, discriminatory and difficult to implement situations. However, regarding the situation at Hidroelectrica, where the maintenance activity is ensured by subcontracted services to a company – SSH Hidroserv SA – the application of this rule can lead to major dysfunctions, possible damages and, in the national energy context, to a disaster of proportions,” states the trade union.
The leader of the union within Hidroserv S.A., Cristinel Popescu, stressed that the interdiction applied by Hidroeletrica has the effect of endangering its own installations.
“By banning Hidroserv from performing maintenance work, on the one hand Hidroelectrica aggravates Hidroserv’s insolvency situation by leading it to bankruptcy, but also endangers even its own facilities and even the safety of the energy sector,” said the Hidroserv union leader.
Consequently, the trade union organization urgently requests the modification of the normative framework regarding the rules during the alert state, in order to unblock and avoid such situations that endanger the activity of some companies and the public interest, it is specified in the release.
