Tariffs for the electricity system, transmission and distribution services will not be increased from 1 January, as it should have been, but from 1 April 2022, according to a draft order of the Energy Regulatory Authority, according to e-nergia.ro.
ANRE points out that, given that the consumer support mechanism, which includes capping the final price, is in place during the winter, the network tariffs, which are included in this price, will be maintained during this period.
“Considering the provisions of the Law according to which for the period November 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022, for certain categories of final customers, the capped final price is set at a maximum of 1 lei/kWh and a reference price of 0.68 lei/kWh which include the value of tariffs for electricity transmission, system and distribution services applied on 30.10.2021, it is proposed to maintain in force the tariffs considered by law, until 31.03.2022, respectively to maintain the applicability of the Orders approving the grid tariffs,” is shown in the substantiation note of the draft order.
“Correlatively, it is provided that ANRE establishes and approves the tariffs for the electricity distribution service, for the transmission service and for the system service related to 2022 starting with 01.04.2022. At the same time, it is provided that the income differences of the network operators resulting in the period 01.01-31.03.2022 are recovered according to the provisions of the methodologies in force,” the regulator also shows.
