Distribuție Oltenia started the Advanced Distribution Management System project, for the development of an intelligent distribution network, for the benefit of the over 1.4 million electricity consumers. The value of the project amounts to 76 million lei and is co-financed by European funds.

The strategic project consists of an advanced distribution management system, a software platform that ensures the control and management of the distribution process, and also its optimization.

An intelligent distribution network is also characterized by the involvement of users in the energy process, the emphasis being on informing them, developing new products and services tailored to their needs, as well as adapting the operation of the network to user satisfaction criteria.

The system involves a set of functions to optimize the performance of the distribution network and will function as a modern tool in the efficient monitoring and control of the electricity distribution system, improving safety, reliability, quality of services, emergency response, accuracy of network analysis, of regime calculations and own technological consumption.

This project is just one of the steps that the distribution operator is taking to digitize the company’s processes and will significantly contribute to improving the quality of energy distributed to Oltenia users.
