Romgaz hydrocarbon production rose 11.2% last year

Last year, Romgaz recorded a hydrocarbon production of 32.53 million barrels equivalent to oil (boe), 11.2% higher than that reported in 2020, according to preliminary data sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The crude extracted methane gas totaled 32.33 million boe, and the condensate production was of 202,000 boe. The amount of methane gas from domestic production delivered to third parties amounted to 4.966 billion cubic meters (plus 12.7% compared to the previous year).

Electricity production amounted to 640 GWh, according to Agerpres.

With a history of more than 100 years, SNGN Romgaz has extensive experience in the field of natural gas exploration and production, becoming one of the largest producers and main supplier of natural gas in Romania. The majority shareholder of the company is the Romanian State, with a participation in the share capital of 70.0071%.

As of November 12, 2013, the shares issued by Romgaz are traded on the regulated market administered by the Bucharest Stock Exchange. At the same time, the company’s shares are support for global depositary receipts (GDRs) issued by The Bank of New York Mellon, that are traded on the London Stock Exchange.
