The price of a barrel of Brent oil supplied in March continued its rise on Thursday and rose by 3.48% in the opening of the London futures market, reaching $116.8, the highest level since August 2013, writes the EFE agency.

The previous day, the price of reference oil in Europe rose by 7.58% to close at $112.93, after OPEC + decided to maintain its moderate production plan, despite escalating prices following the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

Brent oil is on its fourth consecutive day of growth on Thursday. The price exploded for fear of a global supply crisis in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
