Eaton’s new concept, Brightlayer, proposes a number of intelligent energy management solutions to reduce costs, both operational and other types of expenses, the company’s representatives announced, at the DigitALL 2022 conference organized by Energynomics.

“Eaton offers customers an integrated solution, under the Brightlayer concept, which starts from the fact that the virtual, digital and physical worlds are increasingly interconnected. Given that digital solutions are becoming more and more cost-effective, the new digital future, the interaction between components, the increasingly used and more advanced analytical models – all these support in a much more effectively the challenges of managing energy, all types of energy. Eaton is a world leader in energy management – and here I am referring not only to electricity, but also to the hydraulic, mechanical, aerospace, where Eaton has been performing for over 100 years” said Gabriel Tache, Country Sales Manager Eaton Romania.

“Through the Brightlayer concept, Eaton is proposing a number of smart energy management solutions to reduce both operational and other costs,” he added.

In the context of the new energy market, the role of prosumers is becoming essential. European countries are working to become energy independent in the new context of the Ukraine conflict.

“European countries are trying to become energy independent, they are trying more and more to move to the photovoltaic area, but this area is quite difficult to manage. Therefore, Eaton comes with energy storage and management solutions – all situations in which consumers become producers. It is difficult to manage at the network level. In addition, due to the interconnection, the problem of cybersecurity is growing – and these days we have seen some more and more critical situations in some important manufacturers of electric cars”, underlined Gabriel Tache.

Iordan Mincă – Sales Director Utilities, EMEA Region – Eaton, presented, in turn, some of the solutions offered by the company through Brightlayer.

DigitALL 2022 was organized by Energynomics, in partnership with reputed organizations such as CIO Council and BusinessMark, with the support of our partners: ACE – Industrial Software Solutions, Eaton Electric, Nova Power & Gas, Procesio, SAS Romania, Safetech Innovations, Siemens România.
