Approximately 1,900 students from the “Ion Minulescu” National College in Slatina benefit from a new space for exploration and experimentation within the school, arranged with the support of CEZ. This is the Linden Court, which hosted in June the first outdoor event dedicated to young people, the “Play” Theater Festival, according to CEZ Romania.
“Linden Court” is the first project developed within the Generators of Good – 2022 edition, an annual competition that encourages community involvement among CEZ employees. Starting from an idea that supports the development and well-being of students, the Linden Court has become the main learning space for the entire school community. The inauguration took place with the organization of the “Play” Theater Festival, which has become a tradition for young people who want to develop their passion for art.
The new space will also continue to host other themed activities – summer schools, workshops, atypical lessons, poetry evenings, shows – that will strengthen skills for the future, help promote values, giving students the opportunity to experience and to get actively involved.
“We support good ideas that start from a real need, identified around us. This time, the community of the Ion Minulescu National College emphasized the need for a creative learning space that would bring together young people and their diverse passions. I am glad that this space is now Linden Court, a welcoming, innovative educational center, in which each student can reach his own potential,” was the message sent by Ondrej Safar – Country Manager, CEZ Romania.
