The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency organized on June 28 a visit to the restoration, conservation and enhancement project of the historical monument “Așezămintele Brâncovenești Biserica Domnița Bălașa” in the city centre.

In addition to the restoration of the heritage site, it was modernized and equipped with the latest lighting, sound, heating and ventilation solutions, including digital control, so that the monument can be integrated into the cultural, historical and religious tourist circuit of the Bucharest-Ilfov region.

The works, financed almost entirely through a grant awarded by the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, were coordinated by Ionuț Bursuc, as project manager, and benefited from the expertise of Viorica Frunză, as general designer of the project.

During the visit, Simona Curpăn, head of the Regional Promotion and Investment Department of ADRBI, presented the funding priorities for the new operational programme 2021-2027 (in RO), which will be implemented by RDA Bucharest-Ilfov as Managing Authority.
