Cogeneration for energy efficiency and renewables

10 Nov 2022 @ 10:00 - 13:30

On Thursday, November 10th, 2022, from 10.00 am, at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel (Timișoara Hall) in Bucharest, Energynomics invites you to an interactive conference about the role of cogeneration in reaching energy efficiency targets and integrating renewables into a secure and stable energy system!

For in-person participation, CLICK HERE!

Cogeneration provides electricity together with heat while using less primary energy than other technologies. This is the first technical reason for supporting the development of new, highly-efficient cogeneration capacities in Romania. The second is that cogeneration technologies allow to efficiently and flexibly deliver useful energy to households, district heating and industry. Finally, when integrated with renewables, cogeneration provides not only energy efficiency but also system resiliency, for a smooth switchover to thermal renewables, including renewable gases like green hydrogen and biomethane.

However, little has been done in this area for many years!

A new impetus seems to come from high prices (incentivizing the industry). financing (for district heating and public buildings), and this recently discovered potential for hybridization, mounted on the second renewables wave.

We aim to identify together who are the most active players and what are the main opportunities that should not be missed during this period!

PARTICIPATION

Access to the conference is open to all professionals in the Romanian energy industry and related sectors.

This conference is organized by Energynomics with the support of our partners: Chimcomplex, Electro-Service RB, ENGIE Romania, Horváth, Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe GmbH.
