The Intelligent Energy Association is launching the third edition of the “Energy for Life” project, which will install photovoltaic panels in isolated households in the Vrancea Mountains. In five houses located in the communes of Năruja and Vintileasca in Vrancea County, the difference between dark and light will be made by simply flicking a switch, thanks to the companies supporting the project.
“The third edition of “Energy for Life” will bring light to five households in the Vrancea Mountains and some hope to their elderly inhabitants,” says Dumitru Chisăliță, President of the Intelligent Energy Association. “We intend to continue this project in the future, to make it as well known as possible both to make a difference for the families targeted by the project and to raise awareness of the fact that there are so many households without electricity. Together we can make a difference to our fellow human beings.”
“We are pleased to extend our contribution, this time together with the Intelligent Energy Association, and implement a green energy production solution for disadvantaged families that is beneficial both for them and for the environment,” said Eric Stab, President and CEO of ENGIE Romania.
The “Energy for Life” project is supported by the companies ALRO, Vimetco Extrusion, ENGIE Romania, Ostenweg and Electroscape, with the support of the 4×4 Vrancea community and the Fulga Năruja hut, home of the project team during the installation of the photovoltaic panels.
