The General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB) adopted, in Friday’s meeting, a draft decision that aims to update the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUD) 2016-2030 for the Bucharest-Ilfov region and the portfolio of priority projects of this area, as well as the transport model underlying the PMUD.
Among the objectives of the project are the efficiency and simplification of the services provided to citizens by the Technical Traffic Commission of the Municipality of Bucharest, by expanding the digitalization process and reducing the access times to documents from the archive, respectively strengthening the institutional capacity of the Municipality of Bucharest and the Intercommunity Development Association for Bucharest-Ilfov Public Transport through the adequate training of personnel in the field of strategic planning and transport modeling, according to TVR.
The decision adopted with 33 votes “for” and 18 abstentions approves the project “Mobility 2.0 – Strategic planning and digitized public administration at the level of the Bucharest-Ilfov Region”, in order to be financed through the Administrative Capacity Operational Program 2014-2020.
Also, the normative act approves the total value of the project of about 4.4 million lei, of which the non-refundable amount exceeds 3.9 million lei.
