The transaction through which Enery Power Holding GmbH intends to take over the companies Power L.I.V.E. ONE, Rott Energy, Zagra Hidro, Corabia Solar, Holrom Renewable Energy and East Wind Farm is being analyzed by the Competition Council.
According to a press release from the competition authority, sent to Agerpres on Friday, in accordance with the provisions of the Competition Law (no. 21/1996), this transaction must be authorized by the Competition Council. The authority will evaluate the operation in order to establish its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the terms provided by law.
Enery Power Holding GmbH is an Austrian holding company active in the renewable energy sector, which acquires, develops, builds and operates renewable energy plants in Central and Eastern Europe.
Power L.I.V.E. One S.A., Rott Energy S.A., Zagra Hidro S.A., Corabia Solar S.A., Holrom Renewable Energy S.A. and East Wind Farm S.R.L. operates in Romania in the field of renewable energy, having production capacities that consist of wind farms, photovoltaic parks and hydroelectric plants located in different areas of the country.
Any observations and points of view can be sent to the competition authority within 20 days from the date of publication of the announcement.
