Signify was included for the sixth consecutive year in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, being in the top 1% of industry leaders, according to a press release received by Energynomics.
Thus, Signify, a global leader in lighting, has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the sixth consecutive year. Inclusion in the DJSI is based on the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, in which Signify achieved an overall score of 88 out of a possible 100 points on September 23, 2022, placing the company in the top 1% of the lighting industry as of 9 December 2022, to double the pace of adopting the Paris Agreement commitments to 1.5°C and generate between 61% and 64% of climate policy revenues, thus contributing to the goal of doubling the positive impact on society and the environment by end of 2025.

Signify achieved maximum scores (100/100) for 66 categories, including Climate Change Strategy and Greenhouse Gas Scope 3, Risk Culture, Product Design and Innovation, Social Reporting and Policy Influence (score date : 9 December 2022).
In 2022, the second year of Signify’s ambitious five-year sustainability program Brighter Lives, Better World 2025, the company maintains its goal of doubling the pace of achieving the 1.5°C scenario of the Paris Agreement. In the third quarter of this year, the company reported that it remains on track for its cumulative carbon reduction, its circular revenue, which stands at 30%, and its revenue from Brighter Lives, which increased to 28%. These actions contribute to Signify’s ambitious project to double its positive impact on the environment and society by the end of 2025. Signify has become a carbon neutral company in all its operations since 2020 and has reduced actively reducing operational emissions by over 70% since 2010.
