The training of the new generation of energy specialists is a responsibility that Distribuție Oltenia has assumed since 2016, through the Apprentice Electrician program. In 2022, Distribuție Oltenia and ADREM joined forces in the most ambitious professional training project, and the partnership is materialized by the launch of a new video material, inspired by the job of the future: a day of practice in the field, alongside professionals.

Young people enrolled in the Apprentice Electrician project constantly need role models who reflect the values and benefits of a job such as that of an electrician.

“Our mission is to produce a positive impact in the community and to get involved in one of the pillars that contribute to the development of the community – education. We are very concerned about combining the theoretical part with practice, that is why, together with our partners, we are open to sharing the knowledge accumulated in the field and giving young people the opportunity to get in touch with the latest generation technologies used by our teams. Practice hours are very important, preparing young people for a day of work, as future employees in the field. In this way, we help them to be aware of the essential role we have in the community – that of providing electricity to our consumers,” said Eugen Butoarcă, CEO of Oltenia Distribution.
