Romgaz (SNG) or its affiliate Romgaz Black Sea Limited do not have any concluded or ongoing contracts aimed at the sale of natural gas related to the participation quota in the Neptun Deep perimeter, the company reported today, in a report published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The natural gas related to the share of the Romgaz group in the Neptun Deep perimeter will be sold in compliance with the legal and corporate provisions applicable to this project, the company also says, according to Financialintelligence.
The clarifications were formulated as a right of reply to some statements made during a TV show.
“Neither S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. and neither the affiliate nor ROMGAZ Black Sea Limited (the new name of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania Limited, after the acquisition of the shares of this company by ROMGAZ) took over with the acquisition of the participation in the Neptun Deep perimeter contracts that had as their object the sale or purchase of natural gas related to the participation quota taken from the Neptun Deep perimeter (or from other sources),” the report states.
At the same time, Romgaz considers “the statements made during the show to be totally unfounded and erroneous.”
