The fifth edition of the “Digital Up – Entrepreneurial Development for SMEs” project, part of a series that will expand to most counties in Romania, will take place on Thursday, March 30, in Cluj-Napoca.

“We come to Cluj Napoca, a city intensely dominated by technology, which has almost created an ecosystem of digital performance, with the hope of interesting debates. From the experience of the previous debates of the Digital Up project, we understood that sometimes entrepreneurs consider that the process of digital transformation is, in – a certain sense, intimidating. That’s why our debates had both an intellectual opening, an initiation into the digital transformation process, and a practical approach, in which the experience of the guests accurately described the stages, challenges and benefits of digitization,” said Cristina Chiriac, president of CONAF.

The “Digital Up” project acted as a base, a support that generated interesting ideas, connected entrepreneurs and leaders of the digital industry in Romania and offered a platform for the analysis of business adaptation scenarios so that they take advantage of the benefits of digital innovation, it is stated in a press release of the organization sent to Agerpres on Wednesday.

“Together with our partners and panelists we emphasize the importance of facilitating entrepreneurs’ access to expertise and a range of digital infrastructures, technologies, and artificial intelligence. Businesses, whether large or small, must adapt to the rapid advances in technology to survive in a future dominated by uncertainties, to endure in the market and to remain relevant for partners and customers,” said Cristina Chiriac.

The project “Digital Up. Entrepreneurial Development for SMEs” is initiated by the National Confederation for Female Entrepreneurship (CONAF) together with the Patronatul Femeilor Antrepreneur (PFA), in partnership with Visa, NOD and Wingate Project, supported by Vodafone Business and moderated by journalist Alessandra Stoicescu.

The National Confederation for Female Entrepreneurship (CONAF) is the strongest confederation in Romania that brings together the interests of entrepreneurs in the European spirit of gender equality and equal opportunities. CONAF represents the largest entity of its kind in Romania, an organization that promotes and supports Romanian entrepreneurship, and has in its composition two federations, ten patronages, five associations, 24 branches and over 3,700 companies.
