In the investment committee, schemes of approximately 2 billion euros were approved for the development of new production capacities from renewable sources, announced on Thursday, Dan Drăgan, secretary of state at the Ministry of Energy.
“I can mention that, at this moment, in the investment committee, schemes of approximately 2 billion euros have been approved for the creation of new production capacities from renewable sources, which will be divided into four large segments, in equal proportions. It will be a scheme for public authorities of approximately 500 million euros, a scheme for legal persons, consumers-prosumers of approximately 500 million euros, a scheme for independent producers of 500 million euros and a scheme for prosumers active in the agricultural projects, which will be developed together with the Ministry of Agriculture, of 500 million euros. At the same time, I must mention that the modernization fund also helps the restructuring plan of the Oltenia Energy Complex, which implies in the solar field, the development of some capacities of minimum 730 megawatts,” said Dan Drăgan, at the Solar Energy Bucharest Summit, according to Agerpres.
He referred to the contracts for difference and mentioned that the first public debate took place some time ago and in a maximum of two months the institution will put the final form of the primary legislation and the mechanism for the contracts of difference into public debate.
