The Chinese company Huawei offers a range of equipment for the production of electricity, including digital power products that come to support this new wave of renewable energy, as well as solutions for charging electric vehicles.

“The advantages of Huawei products are that they can be integrated into the monitoring platform, the equipment can be tracked in real-time and it offers predictive maintenance. Huawei offers advantages from the point of view of developing products that can make energy costs more efficient. I was on a recent visit to China where I think over 50% of the cars are electric. I would like to see this in Romania as well”, said Mihai Popescu, Product Manager at Huawei, at the 9th edition of the Energy Strategy Summit, an event organized by Energynomics.

The company’s products are divided into three areas, namely utility-scale or large industrial parks as we can expect to see happen in Romania, industrial commercial (prosumers) and the residential area.

For customers in the first area, Huawei provides a 300 kW inverter, and for the commercial-industrial area it has on-the-market inverters from 12 to 100 kW that can be integrated into all business models. On the energy storage side, Huawei offers solutions in all segments, from residential to large scale, as well as electric car battery recharging solutions, 22 kW modular stations for the residential sector and fast charge charging modules for industrial customers.

The company installed in Romania a 60 MWp solar park in Călugăreni, Giurgiu county, and one of the world’s largest photovoltaic projects in the world, 1.2 MWp in northern China, which supplies factories in southern China. Huawei is present in more than 170 countries and has 190,000 employees, including more than 80,000 in the field of research and manufacturing of new products.
