The Association of Prosumers and Energy Communities from Romania (APCE) has been accepted as a member of the European Solar PV Industry Alliance.
“This affiliation represents a significant step in our mission to represent the interests of prosumers in Romania. Through this international association, APCE enters a new area with direct and immediate support from this association. Under the auspices of the European Commission and the relevant international associations APCE will intervene where there is a need in society and where the state or other institutions do not have enough resources or do not want to get involved,” it is mentioned in a press release quoted by Agerpres.
Founded in 2023, APCE is an association dedicated to protecting the interests of prosumers and energy communities, with the main objective of creating a favorable environment for the development and implementation of sustainable energy solutions.
The European Solar PV Industry Alliance is a platform established by the European Union in 2022 and is dedicated to strengthening collaboration and the exchange of expertise in the field of photovoltaic solar energy.
“As a member of the European Solar PV Industry Alliance, APCE will continue to act as a defender of the interests of prosumers and energy communities in Romania. We are committed to representing these interests with integrity and professionalism, collaborating closely with government authorities, international organizations and other interested parties in order to promote a sustainable and fair energy transition,” states the quoted source.
